Closure of CCMA Vaal, Witbank, Bloemfontein and Durban offices

On 20th July 2020 the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) issued a notice announcing a temporary closure of CCMA Vaal, Witbank, Bloemfontein and Durban offices. The closure came as a result of confirmed COVID-19 cases and is an attempt to protect employees and visitors.

The CCMA has announced that during this time they will execute the necessary health and safety protocols to facilitate proper sanitation and disinfecting of these offices to render them safe again for its users.

All cases scheduled for the 20th July in any of the four listed regional offices, will be re-scheduled whilst cases dated thereafter will be communicated further on once their offices re-open on 21st July 2020. All other Regional Offices will remain open and cases will proceed as scheduled.

Referrals and applications will still be accepted via their digital platform which was released on 8th June 2020 and can be accessed at the CCMA Digital Platform Website alternatively email and fax options will also be accepted during the closure of CCMA Vaal, Witbank, Bloemfontein and Durban offices.
